Unbeknownst to them all, Alduin has made his next move, sending the dragon Mirmulnir to the Western Watchtower. After being sent to Bleak Falls Barrow to retrieve the Dragonstone, they return to Whiterun to report to Farengar Secret-Fire and Balgruuf the Greater. The Dragonborn, narrowly escaping Helgen, makes their way to the city of Whiterun on advice from either Alvor or Gerdur, and shortly becomes entrenched in a larger narrative as they report what happened. Jarl Balgruuf has sent me along with his housecarl Irileth with reinforcements.Īlduin has reemerged in Skyrim, laying waste to Helgen and spreading fear throughout the land.
